Antique Reimagined American Caboose Stove Fire Bucket, 1920s
Antique Reimagined American Caboose Stove Fire Bucket, 1920s
Description
This antique galvanized steel bucket was originally manufactured by Estate Stove Co. in Hamilton, OH as a fire bucket with a pump, companioned with their signature Caboose Stove which (as the name suggests) sat in the caboose of trains. After World War II, these were often converted into flower buckets by florists because of their tall shape. As seen, someone added their own (likely hand-welded) handle as a modification.
